Koh Chang is an island in Thailand, and although there are crassna type aquilaria trees throughout Thailand, Koh Chang has a unique aquilaria malaccensis species. And this oud, which has a completely different profile than both Cambodian and Thai ouds, has more of a Hainan Island Kinam profile. In addition, it is the tree species with the lowest oil yield among the trees in the geography where it is located and it is a very rare oil.
This is a lively oil with an opening emphasizing sweet confectionery notes reminiscent of marzipan violet flower over sweet jammy crassna notes. But totaly different than Thai crassnas.

The scent profile of Koh Chang Oud Oil is incredibly intricate and multifaceted. It evolves over time, revealing different layers of fragrance as it interacts with your skin and the environment. This complexity is what makes Thai Oud Oil from Koh Chang highly sought after by perfume connoisseurs and enthusiasts. Its alluring blend of woodiness, sweetness, earthiness, and occasional fruity / floral nuances create an olfactory experience that is truly luxurious and enchanting.
