Attar and Mukhallat term are two terms that are close to each other and are usually used instead of each other.

Attar: It is a method of distilling one or more products on top of a base oil and it is the ancestor of the perfumery, if we give an example, while the rose is distilled, it is distilled on top of a sandalwood oil and a sandal, rose attar is obtained, Sandali Gulab Indians call it.

Mukhallat: Based on the same sandal-Rose example, it is the process of blending the previously distilled Sandal oil and Rose oil in certain proportions.

The differences between Attar and Mukhallat are: While the smells in the mukhallat have a balance and each of them still preserve their own detached existence, the smells that come together in Attar create a completely different smell.
