Codistillation is the term given to the process of distilling multiple products together.There have been very successful distillations of each agarwood species for thousands of years, and new combinations are extremely exciting to us.Our motivation in distilling SEVEN HILLS was to capture an unique oud combination that has never been tried before.Just how an artisanal distillation is not about putting wood in a pot boiling it, codistillation is not putting different woods in pot and boiling it down. There is a very serious work behind it, different agarwood species have been distilled in different ratios, in what we believe to be the most perfect combination that we have tried before.

As with all our artisanal distillations, we used real incense grade  pieces that people can't bear to burn as incense.

Before distillation, a special 14-days soaking process was applied and our distillation lasted 28 days, 28 days at different temperatures, extracting all the precious compounds that will make SEVEN HILLS unique, with the meticulousness of a treasure hunter.
